 Álvaro Lois Martín, a chef by profession, dedicated a large part of his career to teaching, serving as Technical Coordinator of the Gastronomy career at INACAP.

His vast career in television began in the program "Hola Andrea" and he participated as co-hosting Chef in the morning show "Mucho Gusto", both broadcasted by the private channel Mega.
On the Chilevisión channel, he served as Chef panelist of the morning show "Gente como Tú", in addition to participating as Chef host of the second season of the program "El Especialista" on channel 13 Cable and co-host of the cable television program "Sabores" on Zona Latina and the radio program "Los Entretenedores" on radio "Universidad de Chile".
Currently, together with José Miguel Furnaro, he hosts his own television program "Somos Un Plato", initially broadcasted by Canal Vive de VTR and to date in open television, Canal TV+. Presenter of the program "Recomiendo Chile" on Canal 13 and "Sabores sin Límites", a documentary program financed by the CNTV and currently broadcast on Canal TV+.
In 2017 he was named "Chevalier" of the World Order of the Académie Culinaire de France and Member of the Guilde Internationale des Fromagers.
Winner in the category "Chef of Chile", by popular vote, Premios Fuego 2018.
In addition, to playing the role of Director of his company "Álvaro Lois Consultores" and being Member Auditor and Treasurer of the Chilean Delegation of the Academié Culinaire de France.
