Originally from the Algarve, this chef with wide-ranging experience obtained first place in the Young Chef of the Year Contest (1998); later, he was to be awarded other prizes such as the Recherche de l´Avenir ,Paris,Académie Internationale de Gastronomie.Culinary Programmer for the Algarve (2010-2011), he received praise from the specialist press for his work at the ´Restaurant Vírgula´, at ´Casa de Comida´ and as the organiser of events related to his reinterpretation of our traditional gastronomy. He is currently chef at the ´Restaurante Chapitô à Mesa´.
