He’s currently a judge for “Game of chefs”, the highest rated Romanian cooking show broadcasted by Antena 1, he is a consultant for “Chef’s Experience” and “Burger si scoici”, chef at Riviera Restaurant and Sago, he also works as a consultant for different food events,  he is an ambassador for Frapin Cognac & Gosset Champagne and the initiator and organizer of The Mussel Festival.

 

Chef Catalin Scarlatescu started his career back in 1988 as a Chef Aid in Brasov. During the years  he was a Chef de partie at  Kempinski Hotel & Resort, Bad Saarow, Germany (2000), Sous Chef at Ristorante Dilippo – Nisi, Koln, Germany (2001), Executive chef at Angel’s Restaurant, Bucharest (2002-2003), Executive chef and manager at Museum Restaurant, Bucharest (2003-2004), F&B Consultant at Noblesse Restaurant, Bucharest (2004), Che/Part Owner at Il Gambero Rosso Restaurant, Bucharest (2004-2006), Executive Sous Chef at Howard Johnson, Bucharest (chef de cuisine 5* hotel; 2007-2013).

 

In 2012 he started his TV career as a judge for MasterChef (ProTv, 2012-2014), he was one of the Chefs from “Hell’s Kitchen” (Antena 1, 2014-2015) and now is a judge for “Game of Chefs” (Antena 1)
