Born in Panama City. I discovered my love of cooking at my Grandmother's side at the young age of 10, before pursuing my studies at the Latina University in Panama. I graduated with a Degree in Tourism, specialising in Catering, and decided to move to Buenos Aires to study a 'Professional Gastronomy' degree at the renowned 'Instituto Argentino de Gastronomía' (I.A.G. – Buenos Aires, Argentina). I was presented with the opportunity to work in the Casa Alfonso Restaurant (one Michelin star) in Alicante, Spain, in 2006 where I was to expand my knowledge of Mediterranean Cuisine. After crossing the oceans aboard the All Ocean Servicia, Supply Boat, as Coordinating Chef, I returned to Panama to work alongside the Rausch brothers, enriching my experience and knowledge. After 12 years of ingenuity, creativity and excellent service,  I continue to work for the good of Panamanian cuisine. I was involved in the 2016 'Duelo de Chef' competition, which I WON; I was an invited Jury Member at Super Chef Panama 2018; and participated in Top Chef Panama in its third season. I am currently the Chef at the NIBA restaurant at Hotel Hilton Worldwide.
