My name is Victor Zhechev and I am Head Chef and Instructor at HRC Culinary Academy, the premier culinary academy in Bulgaria. I have been involved in cooking for over 10 years. Had the great chance to be the very first generation of HRC Academy and graduated in 2010. With my profession, I have had the opportunity to combine it with two other of my greatest passions: art and travel. I have worked in a number of fine dining kitchens in the Netherlands, USA, Korea, Russia, and UK, where I have been able to learn a lot and work with big names. My decision to return to Bulgaria was not only becauseI wanted to help inspire the next generation, but also because I believe there is more and more beauty in our products and our land. 

For me, cooking is creating an art, expressing yourself while respecting the products and providing emotion and experience to my guests at the same time. 

I believe my success is due to the fact that I put a lot of passion and desire into what I do. Therefore, I often prefer to let the food speak for me.
