V Congress of Sustainable Rural Tourism - COMTUR

Monday, 26 June, 2023

Excited and proud to have had the opportunity to collaborate and be present with our ambassador Pepe Rodríguez at the V Congreso de Turismo Rural Sostenible - COMTUR organised by ADEA, which took place in the charming town of Panticosa (Huesca, Spain), on the 21st and 22nd of June.

During two intense days of conferences, colloquiums and learning, the challenges facing rural tourism were discussed in depth, such as ensuring proper management of natural resources, avoiding overcrowding or diversifying activities, the opportunity presented by European funds, new technologies, the search for international customers or synergies within the environment of the municipalities themselves.

Sustainable rural tourism is a growing trend that seeks to promote authentic and environmentally friendly experiences. At the Cook & Chef Institute Foundation we firmly believe in the values that drive this type of tourism and we are proud to support initiatives that promote sustainability and the conservation of our culinary heritage.

We would like to express our gratitude to the organisers of the V Congress of Sustainable Rural Tourism - COMTUR for giving us this opportunity to collaborate and for their dedication to promoting a more responsible and conscious tourism. We are sure that events like this one are fundamental to continue promoting the change towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism practices.
