Double chocolate sponge

Ingredients

220 g unsalted butter
40 g cocoa powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground coffee
240 ml water
250 g flour
350 g sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 eggs
125 g curd cheese

Method.

Melt the butter, cocoa, salt, coffee and water in the microwave on medium power. Mix the flour, sugar and baking soda.
Then add to the bowl with the melted butter. Add the beaten eggs and curd cheese. Once mixed thoroughly, pour the mixture into a mould and bake in the oven at 160°C for 30 to 40 minutes.
Remove the sponge from the mould and allow to cool. To make an icing, heat 110 ml pouring cream and 1 tablespoon sugar. Add and mix 115 g chocolate chips and 30 ml honey.
 
Glaze the cake.
