Mango water

Ingredients

1 l mango pulp
2 litres water
½ cup sugar
1 lemon (juiced)

Method:

 

It is very easy to make fruit water in the Nayarit Riviera: the fruit is seasonal and the taste of ripe fruit off the tree is marvellous. 

The mango is a traditional fruit in the municipality of San Blas and, in this case, I use the Ataulfo mango, which I consider the crème de la crème of mangos. 
1 l mango pulp.
 
Blend the ingredients and keep cold. Check degree of sweetness. 
Mango salad with basil.
Cut the mango into little cubes, chop basil leaves and season with bird pepper, salt and lemon. 
They can be served together or separately. Frost the edge of the juice glass with a little bird pepper.
